Welcome to Ash Tree Candles

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and purchases from Ash Tree Candles (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this site or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

Please read carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases, or have parental/guardian consent if younger.

2. Products

All products are handmade and subject to availability. Colours, shapes, and sizes may vary slightly due to the handcrafted nature of our candles.

3. Orders & Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance. Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment must be received in full before dispatch.

We accept payment via the methods listed at checkout.

4. Delivery

Delivery times and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. While we aim to meet delivery estimates, we cannot guarantee exact dates.

If an item is delayed, you will be informed, and you may cancel the order if it has not been delivered within 30 days.

5. Cooling-Off Period (Distance Selling Rights)

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days from the day after you receive your goods.

To cancel, contact us at [your email address] within this period. Items must be returned unused, in original packaging, and in the condition received.

Exceptions:

Used or burnt candles cannot be returned for a refund for hygiene and safety reasons.

Sale or clearance items are non-refundable unless faulty.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

6. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us within 28 days with photos and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or full refund.

7. Candle Safety & Liability

Our candles must be used responsibly. We are not liable for damage, injury, or loss caused by:

Leaving candles unattended

Burning near flammable materials

Not following care instructions

8. Intellectual Property

All content, including images, text, logos, and branding, is owned by Ash Tree Candles and may not be used without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Except as required by UK law, Ash Tree Candles is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages from use of our products or website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Your statutory rights under UK law are not affected.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
